Ani has studied Tarot since she was eleven years old . . . and that was a very long time ago! Tarot is misunderstood largely due to Hollywood-style movies depicting women in long velvet shawls and gypsy earrings telling fortunes of death and doom.
Ani considers Tarot a tool for both meditation and divination. Used properly, it is an excellent guidance system offering one a glimpse into a world of possibilities and potentials. This fun little workshop is perfect for beginners or for those who simply wish to expand their knowledge base.
Ani will teach the following:
A brief overview and history of the Tarot
The significance of the four suits and the major arcana
How to interpret the cards
The six basic spreads
You may attend this workshop with no knowledge or previous experience, but you will need to obtain the following items prior to your first session:
1 set Tarot cards -- The Rider-Waite or Robin Wood decks are preferred for newbies 1 cloth -- Preferably silk, to wrap the cards when not in use
This is Ani's preferred handbook for beginner's Tarot. It is not necessary to purchase this book prior to the class, but having it will substantially reduce your notetaking.

Tarot A-Go-Go
This 10-session course of study is designed to give you a thorough grounding in the history, form and function of the tarot.
For years peeps have told me they are unable to find a tarot class that takes them from beginner to moderate, covering all the basics but without getting too deep into ancient hermitic wisdom. In other words, they want to learn how to use the cards wisely without investing in advanced study.
By the time you have completed this course of study your tarot cards should be useful and treasured companions in the game of life and, should you choose to pursue advanced studies, you will have a solid platform to build upon.
Learning tarotology is an excellent way to refine and hone our creative visualization skills. This opens the way for the expansion of our intution and connection with Cosmic Intelligence.
Tarot A-Go-Go details:
- Each session - 10 total - will be conducted via Zoom.
- Every session will be recorded and will include instruction, suggested homework and personal tips.
- Generous email access also will be provided.
- Video recordings of both instruction and coaching will be sent to you for download and to keep for your personal use.
Additional Details:
- You can sign up as an individual or with your chosen peer group.
- You can participate online or on location.
NOTE: You will need to provide your chosen tarot deck.
